I think it is a totally different crowd and I wouldn't worry too much about competition from the High Octane or the Loony Bin.

More than 20 years, and a few owners ago, the Tamarack food quality was great and people drove from miles away to eat there. Back then, it was grossing over $200,000 a month during the summer. The fried food was good and the lobster rolls were excellent, on the same level as Pop's.

Somewhere along the way, the quality and portions went downhill and they lost a lot of the regular customers. Driving by in recent years we never noticed the crowds and lines that had been there before.
