McDude, being a longtime northshore dweller and having many ties to that area, I must sadly report that the Golden Bananna in Peabody, that you refrenced above, is no longer among the many fine establishments operating along RTE 1.
That would be the Allen A ranch, and dancing goes back to the 20's and 30's.
