Isabelle's red shanty near the Laconia - Belmont town line on route 3 that I think is a real estate office now. also back in the 1950s and early 1960s there was a resturant where Shaws is now in Gilford. It was a red building and I think the name was the "Red Barn" but I'm not sure. after they went out of business it became the "Big Banana" (fruits and veggies store). grammy also thinks it was the "Red Barn". Then there was Denauw"s resturant. that is now where the Galley is and the Sportsman Den in Gilford on the same side of the road as the new CVS that is the building that Jon;'s roast beef is in.
