Hmmm, according to the census, the median household net worth in the US in 2000 is $55,000. (

Even if you have an 80% mortgage on your property (which I highly doubt) you are still way above the median. Comparing yourself to someone who doesn't have money is a joke.

Asking for more taxes is going to affect you more than anyone else, keep at it............. you'll get what you want, but you won't like it.
