Back in the late 1950's and 1960's, Karl's was known to the local's as a place where the Touists stopped and ate, primarily due to it's great loaction at the junction of Rtes. 11-B and 3. It was not known for it's cuisine. It was a popular place for the college coeds to work at in the Summer for they got a lot tips there from the touristas.
