Compared to a lot of illnesses, I think my condition could seem rather minor. I feel kind of unworthy of all this attention,
but immensely appreciate every prayer and thought. You’re the best.
A scary aspect of all this has been two of the four types of antibiotics used to fight such infections have been ruled out because of allergies. Yesterday I learned that my calcium supplement and the yogurt I’ve been eating may have been inhibiting the absorption of the Cipro.
After two good doses, the large affected area looks much better. Last night my upper arm looked like a slice of very seedy eggplant, today it looks so much calmer.
We’ll see what the doctor thinks later. Your thoughts and prayers definitely are helping. Thanks again everyone! You gave me a much-needed boost of optimism.

No I am not, but isn’t he fantastic? I think it was Newbiesaukee at ForumFest III that told me it has been on the island for over fifty years! It’s marvelous that all it’s owners take such good care of it.
