The new Lowes is a magical place to be sure.
I did notice some empty shelves and the traditional "3 employees standing around talking to each other", but other then that I was happy. Its nice to have it 5 minutes up the road. I know that Home Depot (and I'm sure Lowes by default) have an extensive in-store training program that employee's either keep up with or are shown the door, so the "I don't know what that is" answers should go away over time. Most of the training material is bi-lingual though...
