Unless I am mistaken, I believe you will find he is collecting a pension
and a salary. An item I seem to remember being brought to light during the Benson/Flynn/Heed fiasco. Then again, maybe
that fiasco is part of why Lynch doesn't want him reappointed. He
may be well connected but I don't think it will help him now. Time for him to turn out the lights and hand over the keys.
