A big thing also is, when unexpected company comes it is alot easier to get to the store and get what is needed to fill their tummy's, it being liquid and/or solid. I hate to say it, but I think I have the best of the 2 worlds.

It sounds like you have it pretty good, RLW. Still, I wouldn't trade my island life.
