Last year my 3 year old *loved* his ride on the Winnipesaukee railroad. We took the Weirs to Lakeport trip and enjoyed it.

I would, however, recommend taking the Weirs to Merideth route and stay in Merideth for a while and then take the trip back. Pizza at Giuseppe's is an excellent suggstion as well!
