Family started on Winni. when my folks visited friends on nearby island and they remarked, "why don't you buy that place, it's for sale."
Dad did, Thanks Dad. That was 60 years ago. Sure has changed a lot. Mostly new folks building and several of the same families still carry on the tradition. Now training the grandkids in the joys of island living, Opening and closing, cleanup and so forth. Soon they will be old enough to actually do some of it.
