to say Winnipesaukee. We used to come up to Lake Shore Park when I was an infant and as I got old enough to talk, I would ask if we were going "up the Saukee". Well the name stuck, and all through childhood and teen years, it wasn't going up the lake (had our own place in Glendale by then), it was still going "upthesaukee". Fast forward to 1996, and having moved here, I no longer had to go up the Saukee, I was always Upthesaukee, 'cause I live here
