Fair enough. I wasn't as much taking issue with the statement that many merchants are encouraging huge consumption of alchohol. I was, however, taking exception with the generalization of the bike week crowd in general. The post I responded to suggested that this crowd is likely to be full of hardened criminals and even rapists. When we start making these kinds of generalizations we quickly descend a slippery slope.
