Two years ago I had a yearling standing in my driveway in Gilford, his mama done run him off. The places I have seen Moose around the lake are on Rt 25 in the swampy fields between Moultonborough and Ossipee, and on the Kancamagus highway again in a swampy area next to the road. Both of these seeings were in the late afternoon.
