You are certainly right that the Common Man Restaurants need a revolt to make them aware of their extremely high prices for basic food available at any other local restaurants including Hart's Turkey Farm which is always good food. Unfortunately, The Common Man has taken over Meredith and feels they are the only and only choice in town. I heard a recent story of a very poor and expensive meal served at their Plymouth location. No matter which you go, the cooks will determine the quality and outcome of your dining experience beyond price. Let's ask Harts to offer a shuttle service like the Canoe Restaurant in Center Harbor!

I'm surprised you think the Common Man restaurants are high priced and poor quality food. I think their prices are very reasonable for what you're getting and its location. I enjoy their food. Have you been to other waterfront restaurants lately?? Seen their prices?? Talk about Al La carte Harts. That place is way to expensive for what you get. Hart's is a food factory. An assembly line. Harts was great at one time. I would chose the atmosphere and menu of Church Landing over Harts anytime. I guarantee the menu at Church Landing is cheaper than Harts. And the dining experience will no way even come close to comparison. You would think that a ice cream at the Common Man owned Franky's stand would be expensive. G0 around the corner to Ben & Gerry's or Flurry's and check out their prices. Again I guarantee Common Man Franky's will be a better price and homemade quality. Our family eats at the Common Man family of restaurants all the time. We actually visited the original Common Man in Ashland last week with out of town guest and the just loved it. To tell you the truth I think most restaurants in the Lakes Region are reasonably priced compared to other resort communities that I have visited.
