Well we finally saw our moose, although we had to go to the Great North Woods to the famed “Moose Alley” in Pittsburg NH to see one. We saw four moose, three deer and a red fox on our first night up north. When we got back to our camp our neighbor said she saw a moose a couple days earlier while she was taking her 10:00 am walk on our street less then a ¼ mile from our camp. (and I just drove 3 ½ hours north to see one
) This proves that there are still moose in the Lake Region – maybe not as many as in the North Woods but they are here.
