Angry Are Winnipesaukee WAVES different?

"...was transported to Lakes Region General Hospital after being tossed upward after the boat she was a passenger in, operated by 43-year-old Alan Boucher, of 64 Ninth District Road, Somers, Conn., hit a wave." [And broke her back]

"John Kolkoski, 42, of 101 Adams Ave., Saugus, Mass., was traveling in a northerly direction on Lake Winnipesaukee toward Barton’s Motel when the vessel he was operating hit a wave." [Four-year-old passenger injured]

I recall reading last year of a boater who broke his back after hitting a wave.

Yesterday, the tenant next door was repairing a gauge under the dash when his boat was hit by a wave, bonking his head.

I don't know why the newspapers can't state "hit by a over-sized boat wake".

I'd name the oversized boat that caused the next door tenant grief, but I don't know if the Moderator would allow it.
