My husband and I are waiting to have someone come and take this bird we rescued so it can be nursed back to health. We think it is some kind of hawk that must have been hit by a car or something (we found it on the side of the road). It appears to have a broken wing. Neither of us have a clue about birds. Can anyone tell us what species this is?
