Hi Lady Di--Sorry we didn't reply to your original post. Especially for those of us that are " roasting" and getting bombarded daily by thunderstorms in Florida. I , too , grew up loving this magical lake Winni-- I have many childhood and teenage memories from the Merideth Bay area. We now only get there about twice a year, but the time there is still precious. We should form a "Florida Club" and keep the good times flowing with this wonderful website.
