exactly right JRC ...... also, as we did, if you have your speedometer changed out for a new one (ours broke under warrenty) ... your reset back to zero.

NOT !! the chip in the engine is what the marina's look at !!

Also a good point to note for those out there looking at used boats

I also dug upthe records on our former boat -- we traded it after 5 seasons with 785 hours (157hr/yr avg). Guess we're not slowing down as much as i thought
