I really have to say that this weekend was next to best if not the best weekend I have enjoyed in the lakes region since I've been coming and or lived here over the past 51 years of my adult life. Other than a little drizzle here and there on Friday into Saturday morning the weather and colors could not have been nicer. It was one of those fall weekends that one really enjoyed being outside doing the raking and whatever chores one has to perform for the coming months. Now myself I think I did 20 minutes work and an 1/2 hour sitting on the pier looking across the water and at the colors in amongst the pines. It was just beautiful. I wish all those that come here in the summer months and live a distance away were able to view this gorgeous site. This is not meant to be a rub in to those that aren't able to view/enjoy the beauty but to let you all know that there really is other wondeful seasons here in NH other than just the summer months.
