the only way I know to attach the image as a picture is to load it into photopost, open the picture, right click on the picture for the pull down menu, and click properties. I have a picture of a wasp nest in photopost, and when I do that, here is what shows in "properties"

I copy (highlight the URL address and then hit ctrl + c) and then type [img]then paste the URL by hitting ctrl + vthen type [/img]
I changed the one letter in the brackets from "g" to "p" you would type [img] and [/img]

You can preview the post and see the picture, and then submit. here is what I ended up with.
