I am also a a big fan of buying new. All of the cars I have ever owned were new, as well as the bike and jet skis.
As for a boat, I would seriously consider buying "used". The reason is because many people buy boats and realize they don't use enough to keep it. Often, people will sell newer used boats with very little hours on them. I would think that a warranty would carry over as well.
