Getting onto the ice
The problem will be finding a safe place to get onto the ice. Mince Cove was no longer safe a couple of days ago and West Alton Marina was getting unsafe as well... according to a report I received. Perhaps someone else can tell you where it is safe to get onto the ice.
Keep in mind... conditions can change in an hour... what is frozen in the morning may open up in when the sun hits it.
This is a dangerous time of year. Be careful out there.
