We came up for the weekend and it is still quite cold. The temperature today was around 29 degrees. However, the sun is strong, so there is melting based upon thermal absorbtion (roads, roofs etc...).

Lake Winnisquam has some large areas of open water; there is a lone bob hut sitting out on the ice. Hmmm...I thought that they have to be out by Tuesday. Lake Oppechee has open water pretty much throughout. Winnipesaukee still seems pretty frozen; however, I am not going to trek out there.

We looked at the snowmobile trails and they are getting thin. There are bare spots in sections and likely rocks emerging in the woods.

I believe that the weather is going to get warmer next week. I would expect a slow melt for the LARGE piles of snow and ice out seems no time soon.
