Grant, I second that opinion. Everytime I go by that lake I love the view. As a matter of fact my parents were given an original oil painting of Chocorua as a wedding present. My mothers uncle painted it & he used to own a gallery on Route 16 in North Conway which is now for sale (he passed away) His name was Parker. As much as I like all the areas you reference, I also think Chocorua is my favorite.

Funny, but despite all the thousands of scenic vistas I've soaked in up there -- from the tops of mountains, to the bottoms of lakes -- I STILL can't resist the urge to photograph that view ONE more time. Think I'll hit it next week!
Psyched to be heading back to the Lake in the morning.
