I hate to break bad news to you, but U-Haul's pricing is actually cheap in comparison to other retailers.
Your best bet is to buy their bundle deals if you need a whole lot of boxes - it's a fairly substantial savings by the bundle. If I'm not mistaken, you can get them online and they'll ship to your house if you want. If you need the big closet-sized boxes, I believe they're the only people who sell those. Good luck!
