There's a lot to be appreciated for low-key lighting that will shine downward and not all over the place, and bouncing off the clouds. Im with you on this one FLL.Too much lighting of parking areas is annoying.However,this is usually the building departments doing.I built a 200 car lot in Manchester and had no choice but to install a mininum amount of lumens per the city code.I had to have a lighting expert draw up a lighting plan showing the type of fixture and how much light output it would have.It had to be approved before I could go forward.I did make sure though to install downlighting only.
