I really miss a place I used to go in Alton when I was a kid. The place was called "Mel and Sallies". It was right next to the old Alton pavillion and man they had the best home made toast, and some really cute waitresses.  |
That place was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The building is still there, looks just the same, it's just a different restaurant now.
Mel's was so good, I actually drove 1 1/4 hours sometimes to eat there!
