Do we know if the visitors spent less money at places "off the beaten bike paths"? Not restaurants along their routes in weirs, but places easily found like Mame's in Meredith, or Lake House Grille? Did riders frequent Main Streets, Meredith and Laconia?
Did the take-over of municipal parking in downtown Laconia effect businesses, negatively or positively. One business owner told me a month ago that they planned to just close from Wednesday thru Saturday! To me that's a severe negative impact, but I'd guess that Black Cat was positively effected.

Oh well!!!
