All of the trails are private property, but I doubt anybody will mind an ex-islander and friend taking a walk around the trails.
Dogs are a "hot topic" on the island. One of the few topics where islanders do not see eye to eye. You are better off not bringing one, but if you do make sure its on a leash. It's the law.

What I would like to understand is that the original request was about finding a public dock on Bear Island, I am wondering what a dog law has to do with that?
