The Myrtle Ann was always a stop every summer.
The Blue Bird in Alton Bay, where the doughnut shop came after, was great for breakfast
and even had room rentals in the 50's. We actually stayed there when looking for our first vacation cottage rental in the Bay.
I also loved to go to the Busy Corner store which had the summer post office too.
