How on earth would a sane planning department approve plans with such an arrangement? Well maybe there were long term easements back & forth for the parking and such. So, maybe all those lease/contracts/approvals expired, making the site virtually useless for something viable!
Ownership is public records; one could research......
Franchises often spend unbelievable money to build something. Example: the site work for Mcd's in Meredith, which was unbelievable!!!
However, the franchise holder has bunch of McDs to absorb that investment! Simply one big business, of which Meredith site is small portion!
