I mis-spoke! I was going to be given the extra food, like it or not, and was told to throw it away. Seems illogical and wasteful to me. Guess it's the way I was brought up. It, in no way, was about the money!!!
I used NO extra gas and did not go without either.
I am fortunate to live here year-round and there are many places who serve "outstanding fried clams" as well as other excellent food.
It seems that in these economic times, we should not be wasting food and good customer service is as important as tasty food...if not more so! IMHO
