Great day on the lake Tuesday. The weekenders were gone, the lake was calm, the loons and ducks were gathering in the boards between Clay Point and Rattlesnake, and the Mount was making its rounds to Wolfeboro between rays of sunshine
. I did not like to see the gathering of waterfowl because this is one of the signs of winter coming. I will have to think about going back to Florida but leaf peeking is first.
