My wife and I could not agree more!! We discovered George's Diner ten years ago thanks to one of her co-workers that lived in the area and it's been a regular stop for us ever since. Since we trailer our boat to the lake, the only real options for dining out have to be reachable by water; most places don't have parking for a full-size pickup with a 30 ft trailer behind it. It's the closest we can get to living on the lake like you islander folks! Anyways, we've never had a bad meal at George's; the staff is always friendly, patient and helpful! It's always a pleasure to stop there to eat, whether it be for a quick bite or a chance to stop and get out of the hot sun (not that there was a whole lot of THAT this year!). I predict we'll be eating at George's Diner for a long time to come!
