Yes, that is normal. Guests almost always outnumber members by around 10 to 1.
When I view the forum as an administrator I can see exactly how the visitors got here. At least half come from Google and other search engine referrals. It's interesting, I can click on the link and see exactly what they were searching for and the results they got. PhotoPost also contributes to those numbers. Google Images searches create many PhotoPost visits.
The rest are just lurkers. Most forum readers don't join or post. I read at least 20 forums regularly but rarely log in or post.
The number of visitors used to appear even higher until I eliminated
BOTS from the count. The current numbers represent actual visitors in the last 15 minutes.
