I am so glad that the Family Tree has made it onto the forum. We have eaten breakfast there a few times and have also gone just for their ice cream.
If you had ever been to Zack's, you wouldn't recognize the place. It has been freshly painted, panelled and decorated; is imaculately clean, and the food is wonderful. If you are on the water, they have a few slips where you can park your boat.
We went for breakfast 2 weekends ago with a group of friends. Our group had three types of hash (prime-rib, red flannel and corned beef), along with waffles and eggs benedict. I think that they had a total of 4 different types of hash on the menu that morning. My husband was in heaven! He loves hash. Their breads are homemade and thick sliced. I watched several platters of French Toast go to the next table and promised myself that I would try that on my next visit.
The staff are very friendly and seem to be part of an extended family. I wish them the best and hope that they are around for a long time.
