Unbelievable. There was more noise and activity down street last night then on most nights of bikeweek. Half of Lakeside is closed off, the PA was going till after 9 p.m., and the spotlights lit up the entire strip and most of Tower Hill, Weeks St. and the marketplace. Overnight police protection, 10 porta pottys, 6 golf carts….
Oh yeah, and none of that cash was used to FIX THE STILL BROKEN BOARDWALK.
Add to that the fact that my kids bus rout has been completely messed up with Lakeside closed (thanks everyone involved for letting us know that last night) and the enormous inconvenience of it all to us locals, and I hope she gets rained on.
Its after Columbus Day, didn't they had all gone home.
