I really appreciate all of the input. I will give a couple of these guys a call. I would stay away form Docks Unlimited. I have heard nothing but horror stories about them.
In terms of doing the dock my self, I wish I could. One side is 36 ft by 12 ft and has "I" beams and rocks under it. It may sit on posts, but this job is much to large for me to handle. I don't have the equipment.
The foolish previous owner put the dock at high water level, which means it floods every year. It gets damaged every spring and repairing it is a pain.
