I share your concern about the people still without power. I think this snow will be light as the temps will stay cold. There will be a good amount of wind on the back side and that will cause a lot of drifting.

It may have been a bit better for everyone if the snow was wetter because it would not blow around. The drifting and 'ground blizzard' conditions tonight might be hard to deal with.
