... the sound of opportunity knocking. Sounds to me like someone with time on their hands should open a private security firm and ride around checking on all the seasonal houses. Do a few push ups at each house to convince any onlookers that they mean business ! (or are as crazy as a loon, in either case not someone to mess with). Mebbe setup a few motion activated cameras to capture the ne'er-do-wells. Might pay for a few burgers ....
