Just wanted to let everyone know that my hubby and I tried the Best Dang Q and we were very pleased. It was approx. 5:30 last Fri. evening and we attempted to order the pulled pork, but was out of it. Delivery never came due to storms. It was mentioned that it is cooked for 12hrs. Maybe next time...we opted for the 1/2 rack pork rib dinner and it was very good and hot that we actually had to let it sit for about 10 min. before digging in. Fries were nice and crispy, baked beans, cornbread and my favorite w/ BBQ...coleslaw!! I know I may have mentioned this in previous posts that I am a slaw fan and there are just some places that do not focus on their slaw, sort of use it as a filler. It is a shame how much get's thrown out. But his slaw is perfect! Nice crunch, and light mayo. No horseradish, but if there is, it is very light. Very nice to the palate, I wish the serving was a little more, but it is enough.
It seems to be a one man show, I coud be wrong, but you can tell alot of effort and joy is put into the food. It definately is not a sit down place for a crowd, but a great take out place. They deliver as well. Oh yeah, and the chicken fingers are real. Nice and juicy w/ a side of the BBQ sauce.
