It appears the snowmobile was operating "by the docks"...real close to the water's edge...and went in. The first post seems to indicate that it went in by the town docks, but I heard from a town employee that it was over by the swim dock. He didn't think the operator was skimming, just driving too close on bubbler weakened ice.
