I don't remember that "random name" generator function when I signed up for the forum. That option must have been added after I registered. I always wondered about the meaning of your forum name.
Mine is not a random name. I would be proud to tell you that my family name is *Kerr* and my parents named me *Joe*. That way my name, *Joe Kerr*, would be a "clever" name that sounded like Batman's foe the *Joker* and my parents had a wonderful but slightly warped sense of humor. Alas dear forum reader, that is less than accurate.
The reality is that I chose this name because I don't like to be serious all the time and the name Joe Kerr makes me smile. That's all. If I get to post something relevant but funny or obviously sarcastic I hope my name will make you smile too.
Unfortunately, (but beneficial to the forum), I'm no match for Mee 'n Mac with their quick wit and rapid responses.
