Burger King site eyed for yacht club

A local realty trust has submitted a proposal for a condominium-style yacht club to be built on the Union Avenue property formerly occupied by fast-food giant Burger King.

B & P Realty Ventures wants to build 52 boat slips along with a 202-foot gazebo and a 900-square-foot clubhouse on the property at 1218 Union Ave. There are 57 proposed parking spaces.
