Over by fl-3, just south of Bear Island, saw a Ford F-250 pickup, 4-wheel drive go past today, and head towards the Weirs.....1st vehicle seen out here all winter. Went out and drilled two holes, and the ice was a solid 16" thick with no slush on top....just 5" of dry, light snow.
