Personally, our boat only goes out maybe 8-10 times year. The rest of the time it's docked. We mostly go out in the Fall..boating to me is a relaxing thing, not holding on praying someone in a larger boat won't swamp you or run you over. I love listening to boats taking off, and running in the distance, especially at night. (NOT the cigarette boats, I hate the noise of them). I guess that's from growing up on the lake when there weren't an overload of boats as there is now. And boating doesn't always have to be with a motor...I enjoy kayaking and canoeing. I enjoy many things at the lake..and boating is just one of the many.
