When we moved in to our house 8 years ago, there was a family of three living in my front yard. I have about a third of an acre - just a little house lot, really. Place a house, pool, driveway and swingset on that and I have a postage stamp of a yard. That's where the rodents were living. They were cute but they weren't around for long...
But our neighbour across the street, Joe, decided to name them all "bang", like you've suggested.
So, when we talk of "Joe" it's to the tune of Jimi Hendrix's "Hey Joe"...
