Saw them standing gaurd all day at the Hannafords in Meredith directing traffic. Nice! Somehow didn't notice the traffic being as bad this year. I think visitor numbers are down from the past few years. Although the weather wasn't as nice most of Saturday. Maybe today it will be different. Looks like a cooler week weather wise.
We went to craft fair and ate at Lagos. (Bought a few things at the show. Trying to help the local economy and all!) The Police were still at the Hanaffords at 6pm. Much appreciated. If paid for by Hannafords I might have to take some of my comments back, and
possibly shop there.....
I also noticed it looked like they were going to do some changes to the painted road lines as well. Extending some of the turning lanes and repainting the others.
I also noticed that the traffic I was following coming down the hill past the Iriving station, was doing in the 40's until they saw the blue lights, and then everyone woooo'd up on the brakes.
